WDO Inspections

A WDO (wood destroying organism) Report is a written report of an inspection on a home for visible and accessible evidence of an infestation or damage by wood destroying organisms. Often referred to as a “termite inspection,” a WDO inspection will check for subterranean termites, dry wood termites, wood destroying beetles (such as powder post and house boring beetles), and wood decaying fungi. While WDO inspections are not always mandatory, some lenders do require them for certain types of loans.

We work with local, licensed pest control companies to complete the WDO inspection and report. If you need (or want) a WDO inspection, we will schedule the pest control company to perform the WDO inspection at the same time as our home inspection.
